My intent is to use period photos encompassing aircraft designed pre-1960 (with their post-1960 derivitives) with the UK going first followed by minor producers, then France, Italy, Germany, Japan, Russia and then the USA. This will obviously take some time. Some of the picture will be good quality some, well, they may not be that good.

As far as the Russian aircraft are concerned, aircraft built in the Ukraine during the USSR era are included. I am also including some aircraft with Aeroflot markings as, in a lot of cases, the demarkation between Military and Aeroflot use during the 1950's and 1960's was very hazy.

I'm only human so if you spot any mistakes please feel free to let me know either by email or comment on the post.
